Announcing

The Artist's Path
Through Conflict and Social Crisis

April 7 - 17,   2011

The purpose of this eleven day event in Prescott, AZ is to explore how artists respond to a world in conflict
and social crisis through the discipline of Playwriting.   It is hoped in some small way that the event will
also serve as a remembrance of those who lost their lives on
September 11, 2001
and remind us that Peace is always our goal.

Arizona playwrights will be invited to present new works in Playwriting
addressing the above theme.  A
specially selected jury will evaluate the plays.  The winning entry will receive a cash prize and be staged at
the following year's event.    In its inaugural year T
he Artist's Path will present three plays and an
evening with The Prescott Pops Symphony as ticketed events. Ensuing years will see the addition of
other disciplines in the arts --Poetry, Music, Film, Visual Arts, the Humanities.
